Telepractice

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) states that Telepractice “is the application of telecommunications technology to the deliver of speech language pathology and audiology professional services at a distance by linking clinician to client or clinician to clinician for assessment, intervention, and/or consultation.”
The choice between telepractice and in person therapy is dependent on the client and family’s preference. Another option is the hybrid model which includes both tele practice and in person services.
